Western Gold Announces 95.9 g/t Gold in Outcrop Grab Sample with Visible Gold from Ongoing Fieldwork at Caledonian Gold Project
Western Gold Exploration announced high-grade rock-grab results from its Caledonian Gold Project (Lyon and Orchy licence applications), including a 95.9 g/t Au grab (River Vein) with visible gold and historic assays up to 383 g/t. A total of 494 rock-grab samples have now been assayed, with other notable results including Chruitein vein samples up to ~36 g/t Au and multi-kilogram silver assays. The company is advancing targets toward drill-ready status and plans backpack drilling, channel sampling, drone magnetic surveys and systematic soil sampling ahead of expected summer drilling. Market impact: the results strengthen exploration upside for the project, are likely to boost investor interest in Western Gold and positive sentiment toward regional gold-silver prospects, and could support speculative buying in small-cap gold equities and related commodities (gold and silver) as targets progress to drilling.
