West Point Gold (WPG) Builds a Multi-Zone Gold Story Ahead of Maiden Resource at Gold Chain
West Point Gold says drilling at its Gold Chain project in Arizona is strengthening the case for a larger, multi-zone gold system ahead of a maiden resource estimate expected in late Q3 or early Q4 2026. Recent results from the Tyro Main, NE Tyro, and Black Dyke targets showed consistent near-surface and deeper gold mineralization, with several holes returning strong intercepts such as 30.4m at 2.31 g/t Au and 62.5m at 3.12 g/t Au. Black Dyke is emerging as a possible satellite resource, supported by both new shallow drilling and historical high-grade data. The company plans to resume drilling in mid-September and intends to test below the full 1.2km Tyro Main-NE Tyro trend. The news is positive for exploration momentum and potential resource growth, but it remains early-stage and contingent on further drilling and resource definition.
