Volo Recovers Most Funds after $3.5M Sui Exploit

Volo announced it recovered the remaining ~64.9 ETH tied to a recent exploit, reducing the protocol’s net loss to about $60,000. The original breach had removed roughly $3.5 million in WBTC, XAUm and USDC from Volo Vaults; with clawbacks nearly complete, Volo says it will absorb the residual loss out of pocket and make affected users whole. The recovery materially lowers the on‑chain financial damage and should help restore user confidence in Volo and the broader Sui DeFi ecosystem, limiting potential contagion or market sell pressure from the incident.
