USDJPY falls to new lows. Retests 100 hour MA

USDJPY has slipped to fresh session lows and is retesting the 100-hour moving average at 159.347 for the second time today. The pair’s downside is supported marginally by a slight drop in US 10-year yields (around 2 bps to ~4.303%), but yields remaining above 4.30% are limiting a deeper dollar decline. Technically, a sustained break below the 100-hour MA would expose the 200-hour MA at 159.132 and likely invite further selling toward the 159.00 psychological level and then the swing support zone between 158.01–158.26. Geopolitical headlines around Iran/US/Israel and mixed reports of diplomatic contacts are keeping volatility elevated and trader conviction muted. Overall, the market is tilted toward sellers if moving averages give way, but the rate backdrop and headline risk keep the outlook conditional.
