UK Travel Giant TravelUp Backs BTC, ETH and USDC Bookings via CoinGate

UK travel agency TravelUp has enabled crypto payments via CoinGate, allowing immediate checkout with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Litecoin and USDC. The integration, routed through CoinGate’s MiCA‑licensed processor, bypasses card rails and cross‑border fees and uses Layer‑2 Ethereum and Solana coverage to keep settlement times and costs low. The move could boost real-world utility and merchant adoption of major tokens, increase on‑chain payment volume, and encourage other travel firms to offer crypto checkout options — a bullish development for demand dynamics of BTC and ETH as payment/use cases expand.
