U.S. Spot Ether ETFs Suffer $202 Million Outflows in Six-Day Losing Streak

U.S. spot Ether exchange-traded funds recorded roughly $202 million in net outflows on October 6, extending their withdrawal streak to six consecutive sessions. The redemptions were driven almost entirely by BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust, which shed about $202 million in its largest single-day redemption to date. Across the six-day retreat, cumulative Ether ETF outflows reached $407.8 million, exerting downward pressure on Ethereum's spot price to an intraday low of $2,591.71. Meanwhile, capital rotated into spot Bitcoin ETFs, which attracted roughly $118.8 million on October 6 and extended an eight-day inflow run.
