Twilio and Vylor to Enter S&P 500 in Major Index Reshuffle
Twilio Inc. will join the S&P 500 effective October 6, 2026, replacing Warner Bros. Discovery due to its pending acquisition by Paramount Skydance Corp. Following the announcement, Twilio shares advanced 1.6% in extended trading. The shift comes alongside a broader reshuffling by S&P Dow Jones Indices, which saw Vylor Inc. added to the S&P 500 on October 1 after being spun off from Corteva Inc. Corteva transitioned to the S&P MidCap 400, bumping Olin Corp. to the S&P SmallCap 600. FormFactor and Workiva also shifted into the MidCap 400 and SmallCap 600, respectively.
