Turkey secures 130 archives with ETH blockchain integration
Turkey’s Presidential Directorate of Communications has permanently stored 130 official publications on decentralized storage (Pinata using IPFS) and recorded cryptographic proofs on the Ethereum blockchain via a smart contract. As the first Turkish public institution to do so, the move signals government-level blockchain adoption and could bolster institutional credibility for Ethereum-based solutions, encouraging further public-sector use and technical investment. While not an immediate price driver, the announcement is a positive adoption milestone that may support longer-term on-chain demand and sentiment for ETH as governments experiment with transparency and immutable record-keeping.
