The USD is lower vs the 3 major currencies to start the North American session
The USD is trading softer across the three majors to start the North American session. EURUSD has climbed above its converged 100- and 200-hour moving averages at 1.1632, reaching 1.1645, giving buyers the technical edge with upside targets at 1.1655–1.1667 and beyond to the 200-day (1.1681) and 100-day (1.16965) MAs. USDJPY briefly dipped on hawkish comments from BOJ Governor Ueda but bounced back toward the 160.00 level; technical support sits at the 100- and 200-hour MAs (159.699 / 159.470) amid ongoing intervention watch. GBPUSD reclaimed the converged 100/200-hour MAs near 1.3450 after failing to hold below the 200-day MA (1.34202); a break above ~1.3476–1.3480 would reinforce the bullish bias.
