The Smarter Web Company Raises £10 Million to Fund £4 Million Bitcoin Purchase

The Smarter Web Company has raised £10 million ($13.2 million) through a preferred share offering to purchase £4 million ($5.3 million) in additional Bitcoin. The raise met the minimum requirement for its shares to list on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market under ticker MORE on October 14, despite falling £5 million short of its lower target range due to muted institutional interest. Retail investors provided roughly 75% of the total funds, or £7.6 million. Smarter Web already holds 2,747 BTC valued at approximately $229 million.
