Tether to Launch USDT Natively on Bitcoin in November

Tether plans to launch its flagship stablecoin USDT natively on the Bitcoin blockchain in November, marking a major ecosystem expansion to serve over 720 million global users. Ahead of the scheduled November 28 public rollout, Utexo opened early access to Utexo Mint, allowing crypto exchanges, OTC desks, trading firms, and market makers to test and integrate the asset. USDT on Bitcoin will utilize RGB technology for confidential settlements and Tether's USDT0 protocol, with compliance monitored by Crystal Intelligence. A subsequent phase in the first quarter of 2027 will extend functionality to the Lightning Network.
