Tesla's corporate Bitcoin treasury has neared a $1 billion valuation as Bitcoin traded above $87,000, according to on-chain data from Arkham Intelligence. Tracking data presents differing treasury totals, with one report citing approximately 8,430 BTC valued at $960 million and a later report recording 11,509 BTC valued at roughly $997.8 million. The automaker originally bought $1.5 billion in Bitcoin in February 2021 and sold about 75% of its holdings by July 2022. It has since kept its position dormant, rebounding from a mid-year valuation low of $674 million.
