Tesla expanded monetization of its refreshed Model Y lineup on July 7 by offering summer accessories including a $595 dual-zone trunk fridge. The move follows the July 2-3 U.S. launch of the $61,990 six-seat Model Y L long-wheelbase variant that adds 5.9 inches and a third-row captain’s chairs with 325-mile range. Orders opened immediately after record Q2 deliveries beat estimates, extending the China-proven model that sold over 120,000 units in its debut month there, with U.S. deliveries slated for October.
