Tesla Regains 50-Day Line. Here's When The Stock Could Become Actionable.
Tesla shares jumped about 7% on Wednesday, breaking an eight-week losing streak and reclaiming the 50-day moving average. The stock is up more than 12% for the week, driven in part by regulatory approval of Tesla’s Full Self-Driving program in the Netherlands and a UBS upgrade to neutral. Analysts note Tesla would become more actionable if it clears the 200-day line, though buying ahead of April 22 earnings is risky. The move helped broader megacap tech strength as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq hit record highs, with Microsoft, Broadcom, Meta and Nvidia also rallying.
