Tesla Energy Vice President Mike Snyder Steps Down, Succeeded by AJ Booth

Tesla's Vice President of Energy and Charging, Mike Snyder, has stepped down from his executive position and will be succeeded by AJ Booth, senior director of energy products engineering. Snyder, who joined Tesla in 2014 and became vice president in 2024, oversaw stationary storage and the Supercharger network. His departure comes as Tesla pivots toward artificial intelligence and expands its energy segment. The energy division saw deployed battery energy rise 9.6% year-over-year in the third quarter and generated about 11% of total revenue in the first half of the year, amid plans for a $10 billion Texas solar factory.
