Super Micro Computer announced its next-generation H15 server portfolio powered by 6th Gen AMD EPYC 9006 CPUs, alongside expanded GPU and rack-scale AI infrastructure built with AMD Instinct and AMD Pensando networking. The release highlights up to 256 cores, 512 threads, 33% more cores, 2x PCIe bandwidth, 2.6x memory bandwidth, and a claimed 1.7x CPU performance gain versus the prior generation. Supermicro also introduced new 5U PCIe GPU servers for MI350P GPUs and the rack-scale AMD Helios platform with 72 GPUs for large-scale AI training and inference. Market-wise, the announcement reinforces Supermicro’s positioning as a major AI server supplier and supports the investment narrative around AI infrastructure demand, AMD’s datacenter ecosystem, and higher-density, more efficient compute deployments.
