SuperCom Signs and Launches National Electronic Monitoring Contract in Sweden with Customer-Published Budget of $75 Million

SuperCom announced it has signed and launched Sweden’s national electronic monitoring contract with the Prison and Probation Services after completing the standstill period. The deal expands its role in Sweden from the 2019 program to a much larger nationwide deployment, with capacity for up to 6,000 active offenders, about 6x the previous scale. SuperCom says the project’s value ranges from a base case of $17 million to as much as $75 million, depending on usage and optional features such as alcohol monitoring, GPS tracking, and officer devices. The announcement is strategically positive for SuperCom because it strengthens its European public-safety footprint, validates its technology and execution, and may support future national contract wins. However, revenue timing remains dependent on actual utilization, so the financial impact is still partly contingent rather than immediate.
