Strategy Chairman Michael Saylor Outlines Framework for Expanding Institutional Bitcoin Credit Markets
Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor has outlined a framework detailing how corporate issuers can collaboratively scale the Bitcoin-backed credit market. Saylor divided corporate crypto into digital capital (Bitcoin), digital credit (preferred equity like STRC and SATA), and digital equity (common stock like MSTR). The framework separates cryptocurrency price volatility from structured yield obligations, with Strategy seeking shareholder approval for a daily dividend schedule. Strategy recently expanded its holdings to 847,666 BTC following a $142.7 million purchase, alongside other issuers like Strive, which holds 27,462 BTC, and The Smarter Web Company, which launched MORE preferred shares.
