Spiking Japan and US Yields Pressure Bitcoin Toward $77,000

Rising bond yields in Japan and the United States are intensifying macro pressure on crypto markets. Japan’s 10-year yield climbed to 2.83% and the U.S. 10-year reached 4.68%, both multi-year highs, while inflation prints rose 20 basis points in each country. Bitcoin has retreated from roughly $82,000 to near $77,000 after repeated failures to close above its 200-day moving average. The correlation between Japanese yields and BTC has deepened to -0.14, and markets now price a 73.6% chance of a near-term rate hike. Earlier Japanese sales of $29.6 billion in U.S. Treasuries helped set the stage for the current tightening environment.
