Solv Integrates Amazon Pharmacy to Show Patients Same-Day Prescription Delivery Before Their Visit

Healthcare technology platform Solv has announced a strategic integration with Amazon Pharmacy, allowing patients to view real-time prescription delivery estimates—including same-day delivery—directly within the appointment booking workflow. When a patient chooses Amazon Pharmacy, their preference is automatically transmitted to the provider's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system without requiring manual input from clinic personnel. The partnership leverages Amazon Pharmacy's logistics capabilities, which currently offer same-day delivery across more than 3,100 U.S. cities, with plans to expand to nearly 4,500 cities by the end of 2026. Solv operates a nationwide network covering 210 million Americans across 48 states and has managed over 115 million appointments, providing substantial distribution reach for Amazon's healthcare ecosystem. This move reinforces Amazon's ongoing expansion into digital health and prescription fulfillment, presenting strong competition to traditional retail pharmacy chains.
