Sequans Communications Sells Final 314 Bitcoin to Fully Exit Treasury Strategy

Sequans Communications has completed the full liquidation of its corporate cryptocurrency reserves after selling its remaining 314 Bitcoin, reducing its crypto holdings to zero. The French semiconductor manufacturer used the staged asset sales to eliminate $189 million in convertible debt liabilities, leaving only government-backed research and development financing on its balance sheet. Sequans initially launched the treasury program in June 2025 following a $384 million capital raise and accumulated a peak reserve of approximately 3,234 BTC before unwinding the position. The company will now refocus resources on its core cellular IoT operations.
