Rezolve AI Slides 4% on Profit-Taking After a 22% Google Cloud Rally, Alphabet Holds Flat
Shares of Rezolve AI declined by 4% to $2.84 on Wednesday following a sharp 22% rally in the prior session, sparked by Alphabet's Google Cloud selecting Rezolve AI's proprietary distributed database technology. The technology is being deployed at the infrastructure level within Google Cloud to power indexing and data pipelines for Web3 blockchain datasets across 10 networks, covering roughly 100 terabytes of data. Despite the significant initial surge, Rezolve AI shares pulled back as investors engaged in profit-taking, given that no specific contract value, term, or revenue figures were disclosed. In contrast, Alphabet (GOOGL) stock remained virtually flat, dipping just 0.1% to $346.59, underscoring a stark materiality gap between a small-cap software vendor with a $1.2 billion valuation and Alphabet's multi-trillion-dollar market capitalization. Broader weakness across the enterprise software and AI applications sector also contributed to the pullback, with software benchmarks facing downward pressure.
