Alkane Resources reported a strong quarter: record group production of 45,776 oz gold-equivalent, operating cash flow of $189m and revenue of $275m. The company ended the quarter with $374m in cash, bullion and listed investments and realized an average gold price of $6,330/oz, while AISC rose to $2,928/oz. Guidance for FY26 remains 160–175k AuEq oz. Operational and exploration progress at Costerfield, Tomingley and Björkdal and recent hedging and financing arrangements support liquidity. Inclusion in the S&P/ASX 200 (effective 22 Apr 2026) is likely to increase trading volumes and attract index/ETF flows, creating potential short-term share price volatility.
