QIMC Reports Thermogenic Wet-Gas Signatures at New Salem-Apple River Project in Nova Scotia

Québec Innovative Materials Corp. reported that 86% of classified soil-gas samples at its New Salem-Apple River project in Nova Scotia exhibit a thermogenic wet-gas signature. Analyzed by GeoFrontiers Corporation, the dataset also identified 8.7% dry gas and 3.4% condensate-to-oil signatures, pointing to an active hydrocarbon system. The project features an 18-kilometre anomalous corridor within a 43-kilometre structural fairway linked to QIMC's Bennett Hill discovery, which yielded up to 30% clean natural hydrogen. QIMC is currently acquiring approximately 50 line-kilometres of 2D seismic data to identify conventional targets without hydraulic fracturing.
