Premu Opens User-Created, Leveraged Prediction Markets Ahead of the 2026 World Cup
Premu launched permissionless, user-created prediction markets with up to 2.5x leverage ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, enabling anyone to list Yes/No markets (e.g., match results, group advancement) by posting a USDC bond and earning trading fees. Markets settle on-chain in USDC across Ethereum, Arbitrum and Base and support rapid event markets including price-direction five-minute contracts for crypto assets. By letting creators list markets instantly and earn fees, Premu aims to capture high event-driven trading activity during the 104‑match World Cup (June 11–July 19) and broaden on‑chain forecasting use. The feature could boost on-chain volume and liquidity for event markets, attract short-duration traders, and increase decentralized competition with centralized platforms.
