Veteran trader Peter Brandt projects Ethereum could reach a long-term technical target between $8,600 and $8,674.50 following a breakout above key resistance at $5,000. With Ether trading around $2,660, reaching the target represents a potential 223% total gain. The projection comes as institutional inflows and corporate accumulation expand. U.S. spot ether ETFs saw cumulative net inflows of $536.7 million across three consecutive sessions, while Bitmine Immersion Technologies reported staking roughly 85% of its 5,983,940 ETH holdings. Ether futures open interest also climbed to $36 billion, alongside whale rotation from Bitcoin into staked Ethereum.
