OpenAI partners with Google Cloud to distribute AI models, expanding beyond Microsoft

OpenAI has announced a partnership to make its artificial intelligence models, including GPT-6 Astra and the Codex coding agent, available to enterprise developers on Google Cloud. The integration covers Google Cloud's Model Garden, Marketplace, and Antigravity tool, allowing clients to use existing cloud spending commitments. The move completes OpenAI's distribution across all three major U.S. hyperscale cloud providers—Microsoft, Amazon, and Google. It follows the expiration of OpenAI's exclusive licensing deal with Microsoft in April, after which OpenAI also expanded onto Amazon Web Services.
