Nvidia supplier Wistron launches $700 million Texas factory for AI system production

Nvidia supplier Wistron opened a $700 million factory in Fort Worth, Texas, marking a significant expansion of U.S.-based AI hardware production. The plant will manufacture Nvidia’s GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip and later its next-generation Vera Rubin Superchip, supporting surging demand for AI infrastructure. Nvidia said the facility already built its first GB300 chip in the U.S. and is expected to scale to tens of thousands of computing boards per month this year. The factory has created more than 500 jobs and is on track to reach 1,000 employees by year-end. The move reinforces Nvidia’s $500 billion U.S. investment commitment and signals continued supply-chain localization, which is supportive for the AI hardware ecosystem and bullish for Nvidia’s production capacity and execution.
