Nvidia Partners With UW Institute and Siemens Healthineers to Expand Life Sciences AI

Nvidia has launched several healthcare and life sciences partnerships, highlighted by RFD4-Proteina, its first co-developed open protein AI model with the UW Medicine Institute for Protein Design. Developed following a computing grant from Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang's foundation via CoreWeave, the model combines IPD's RFdiffusion with Nvidia's Proteina-Complexa framework. Nvidia also teamed with Siemens Healthineers on Nemotron-powered adaptive radiotherapy as cancer diagnoses are projected to reach 35 million annually by 2050. Other life sciences partners, including Danaher and Benchling, are integrating BioNeMo into laboratory workflows targeting $3.8 trillion in global R&D spending.
