NVIDIA Launches Cosmos 3 Model and Open-Source Physical AI Tools
On June 1, 2026, NVIDIA announced Cosmos 3, an open omnimodel foundation model for physical AI, alongside a major open-source release of agent tools and skills at GTC Taipei. Cosmos 3, built on a mixture-of-transformers architecture and trained on billions of multimodal samples, targets robotics, autonomous vehicles and vision AI, with Super and Nano versions available immediately. The concurrent Agent Toolkit release covers Omniverse, Cosmos, Isaac and other platforms, enabling automated data generation and deployment; partners including Pegatron and Li Auto reported up to 67% faster training cycles and over 1,000 daily neural reconstructions, strengthening NVIDIA's ecosystem position.
