Nvidia Expands LG Hyundai Robot Ties, Stock Opens Up 2%
On June 8 Nvidia announced expanded partnerships with LG Group and Hyundai Motor Group focused on humanoid robots, physical AI and next-generation data centers in Korea. The moves build on the June 1 launch of the DRIVE Hyperion robotaxi ecosystem with Foxconn, VinFast, Uber and HUMAIN plus the selection of Unitree as the first Isaac GR00T hardware partner. Unitree secured Shanghai STAR IPO approval for 4.2 billion yuan on June 2. The latest deals target Hyundai’s 9 trillion won Saemangeum robotics project and LG’s AI factory, reinforcing Nvidia’s push beyond data-center GPUs. NVDA shares opened 2% higher and closed at 205.10, down 6.2% for the period.
