Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Says AGI Has Arrived With OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang declared that Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) has arrived following the training of OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra model on Nvidia hardware. Huang stated that the advanced AI model was trained using approximately 100,000+ Nvidia Grace Blackwell NVLink72 systems, highlighting a four-year progression from ChatGPT to o1 and now Astra. He also announced that an additional 400,000 Nvidia GPUs are scheduled to come online next, underscoring continued infrastructure buildout. Financially, Nvidia demonstrated massive momentum, reporting $89 billion in AI hardware revenue over a single three-month quarter, more than doubling its sales from the previous year.
