Nigeria’s oil producers meet 97% of domestic supply targets

Nigeria’s upstream regulator said local oil producers supplied 53.7 million barrels of crude and condensate to domestic refineries in Q2 2026, meeting 97.4% of the 55.1 million barrels allocated for local use. The improvement was linked to higher domestic output and long-term supply agreements. Dangote refinery was the biggest domestic buyer, with 63 million barrels of demand for the quarter and 68.1 million barrels allocated under the Domestic Crude Supply Obligation, though it accepted only 52.6 million barrels, or 78% of the offered volume.
