New regional UK roadshows to ‘reconnect’ buyers, British manufacturers
Source Fashion and Fashion-Enter are launching regional UK roadshows beginning in Manchester in October 2026, with further events across Scotland, Yorkshire and the South East over the following 12 months, to reconnect buyers with domestic manufacturers. The programme aims to boost visibility for regional factories, address responsible sourcing, nearshoring and supply-chain resilience, and funnel successful regional participants to the Source Fashion London show (Excel, 7–9 July 2026). For markets, the initiative could gradually support UK manufacturing revenues and procurement flows, improving order visibility for suppliers and potentially benefiting regional economic activity and listed UK firms tied to apparel and manufacturing supply chains. Effects on the UK 100 index would likely be indirect and medium-term, arising from stronger domestic sourcing, reduced supply-chain disruption, and increased local contract wins rather than immediate price moves.
