Netflix Launches Daily 'Breakfast Club' Livestream, Shares Rise to $89.06
Netflix will begin livestreaming Charlamagne Tha God's daily podcast 'The Breakfast Club' on June 1 at 6am ET, delivering three hours of uninterrupted live programming and marking the company's first daily live show. This follows the April 30 rollout of Clips, a vertical swipeable mobile feed designed to capture short discovery moments, increase app opens, and drive ad impressions. Netflix introduced video podcasts in January 2026 and now projects roughly $3 billion in 2026 ad revenue while holding a 9.0% U.S. TV viewing share. The expansion into routine live content builds on earlier format experiments and has prompted rivals such as Paramount+ to accelerate similar initiatives.
