Moscow Exchange Plans Bitcoin, Ether, and USDT Trading Launch on December 1

Moscow Exchange announced plans to launch trading in Bitcoin, Ether, and USDT starting December 1, establishing Russia's first organized digital currency market. The rollout follows a national cryptocurrency regulatory framework enacted on September 1 that permits regulated trading while banning crypto payments for goods and services. Transactions will use existing stock market infrastructure, run from 6:50 a.m. to 11:50 p.m. Moscow time, and clear through the National Clearing Center. Qualified investors face no purchase caps, while non-qualified retail investors must pass an assessment test and adhere to an annual purchase limit of 300,000 rubles per intermediary.
