MoonPay Rolls Out Dedicated ChatGPT App for Direct Crypto Buys

On May 25 MoonPay launched a dedicated ChatGPT app for Plus subscribers, enabling direct purchases of Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin inside the chatbot via its payment rails and reaching over 100 million weekly users. The move follows the May 24 initial in-chat integration that generated checkout links for Bitcoin, XRP, Solana and stablecoins. MoonPay also acquired Dawn Labs and introduced the Dawn CLI AI trading copilot the same day. Users must still complete KYC or sign in, limiting immediate volume but materially lowering onboarding friction for retail crypto demand.
