Modine stock surges on report naming Google as $4B data center customer
Modine Manufacturing shares rose about 8% after Hunterbrook reported that Google is likely the unnamed hyperscaler behind Modine’s more than $4 billion long-term capacity agreement announced in May. The report claims it found internal Modine data in a publicly accessible GitHub repository that identified Google as the customer, and suggested an additional $4.5 billion of Google-related cooling demand, with about $433 million already booked. Hunterbrook also said Modine’s database shows roughly $3 billion of firm or likely commitments from AWS, Crusoe and other data center customers, implying nearly $23 billion in modeled demand overall. The market is reacting positively because the report reinforces the scale and visibility of Modine’s AI/data-center cooling backlog and future revenue potential.
