Microsoft Dismantles Global Phishing Network Under U.S. Court Order

Microsoft, partnered with cybersecurity group Health-ISAC and international law enforcement agencies, has secured a U.S. court order to seize and dismantle a major cybercrime and phishing network. The operation targeted three illicit infrastructure services—YAM Store, CoGUI, and Iron Man—which delivered over one billion malicious messages and targeted more than 75,000 organizations across 150 countries since January. Microsoft's enforcement action disabled over 20,000 fraudulent accounts and blocked more than 100,000 malicious domains. The criminal network generated tens of millions of dollars while accepting cryptocurrency payments in USDT, Ethereum, and USDC.
