Meta Tests Human Concierge Feature for Muse AI Agent Following Calling Tool Launch

Meta Platforms is testing a human concierge system that uses contractors to handle select phone calls for its personal AI assistant, Muse. The internal trial began shortly after Meta launched Muse's phone calling feature and is aimed at refining commercial usability in collaboration with merchants. The initiative has prompted privacy concerns among some staff regarding sensitive user data exposure to call center personnel. Meta stated that internal feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and affirmed that the feature will only launch publicly with appropriate safeguards, privacy protections, and disclosures.
