Mercado Bitcoin Enables Sui Network Transfers for 4.5 Million Brazilian Users

Brazilian cryptocurrency exchange Mercado Bitcoin has enabled asset transfers on the Sui network for its 4.5 million registered clients. The integration supports direct deposits and withdrawals for SUI, USDC, and USDsui, with USDsui eligible as collateral in lending products. Following the announcement, SUI rose about 1% over 24 hours to trade at $0.9317 on Thursday morning. The rollout stems from a partnership with Mysten Labs and the Sui Foundation, with further roadmap plans including migrating over 800 tokenized real-world assets to Sui, linking with Brazil's PIX system, and launching native Bitcoin lending via Sui's Hashi orchestration layer.
