Bitcoin rebounded above $82,600 after briefly falling below $80,500 amid broader market liquidations exceeding $1 billion across digital asset derivatives. The transaction follows MARA's sustained reduction of its digital asset treasury, which fell from 53,822 BTC in late February to 35,577 BTC by August, including a sale of 23,093 BTC for $1.63 billion during the first half of the year. Following the move, MARA shares gained 2% in pre-market trading to $10.00.
