Maple Gold Shares Surge 11% on Quebec Resource Boost as Gold Futures Rally 3.8%

Maple Gold Mines shares jumped up to 11% to C$3.04 after reporting a vastly expanded Mineral Resource Estimate for its Douay/Joutel gold projects in Quebec. Indicated resources rose 77% to 905,000 oz Au (19.1 Mt at 1.55 g/t) and Inferred climbed 70% to 4.28M oz Au (130.2 Mt at 0.88 g/t), including a maiden high-grade underground Joutel resource of 126,000 oz at 4.53 g/t. The update, using a US$2,500/oz gold price assumption, comes with a fully funded C$13.9M 32,000m 2026 drill program amid gold futures gaining 3.8% to ~$4,713/oz.
