Machi Big Brother Trims Ether Long After Losses, Holds $17.86 Million Position

Cryptocurrency trader Machi Big Brother trimmed an Ether long position twice on Oct. 13, locking in about $1.022 million in realized losses and leaving an account balance of roughly $562,000. Despite the de-risking, the trader retains a 25x leveraged long position of 7,150 ETH valued at approximately $17.86 million, with a liquidation price of $2,472.78. The move follows sharp market distress where his leveraged position came within $35.61 of liquidation as Ether fell to $2,428.51, reversing a $5.46 million profit recorded on Oct. 5.
