LSEG Partners With NVIDIA to Accelerate Financial Market Data Processing

London Stock Exchange Group announced a partnership with NVIDIA to accelerate and scale market data processing for institutional clients. By integrating NVIDIA graphics processing units and cuDF software with the Polars library, LSEG demonstrated that years of historical data from its Tick History archive can be processed in seconds rather than hours. The Tick History database covers 110 trillion rows across 100 million instruments and more than 580 venues over three decades. The deployment addresses surging usage, including a 48% year-over-year rise in first-half customer API requests and peak real-time traffic reaching 26 million messages per second.
