Linea Build ramps up Yield Boost allocation to 60% for ETH staking

Linea, the ConsenSys-backed zkEVM Layer 2 network, has significantly scaled its Yield Boost mechanism by raising the allocation of bridged Ethereum (ETH) staked on Ethereum's beacon chain to 60%. This decision, approved by the Linea Security Council via a parameter adjustment, marks a substantial increase from an initial 10% target established in July and an early test phase of 96 ETH in March. Deposits from the protocol have formally entered Ethereum's validator activation queue. Under the mechanism, surplus ETH held in Linea's bridge contract is staked into Lido V3 stVaults. Rather than distributing yields directly to user wallets or introducing rebasing tokens, the staking rewards are recycled directly into ecosystem incentive programs to support Linea's decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. Linea maintains a reserve pool of at least 35% to 40% to ensure smooth withdrawal liquidity for users, transitioning the protocol toward higher capital efficiency and long-term ecosystem growth.
