LG and Nvidia partner on robotics and AI factory development

Nvidia and LG signed a memorandum of understanding to deepen cooperation in robotics, AI factories and mobility, reinforcing Nvidia’s role as a key enabler of industrial AI infrastructure. LG said it will unveil a humanoid robot based on Nvidia’s Isaac GR00T in Q1 2027 and deploy a wheel-based robot on a Tennessee washing-machine production line this year as a proof of concept. The company also plans an Nvidia Vera Rubin-based AI factory reference site in the first half of 2027, with expansion to 80 megawatts in South Korea by the first half of 2028. The deal highlights continued enterprise demand for Nvidia’s AI platforms and could support sentiment around the stock by signaling broader adoption beyond data centers into manufacturing, robotics and automotive systems.
