KLDC Hits 121 m of Continuous Gold Mineralization at 1.01 g/t in 75 m Step-Out at Mirado; Eight Additional Holes Pending
Kirkland Lake Discoveries (KLDC) reported encouraging assay results from its 2026 Mirado drill program: hole KLM26-002 returned 1.01 g/t Au over 121 m (11–132 m) including higher-grade intervals (4.61 g/t over 3.2 m and 7.41 g/t over 4.8 m). The hole is a 75 m step-out from prior intercepts and supports continuity of a broad South Zone; eight additional holes are pending. The results, plus a deep 732 m IP-targeted hole, increase the likelihood of a materially larger, mineable gold system and should boost investor interest in KLDC and other junior gold explorers. For markets, the release is bullish for gold exposure—potentially lifting interest in gold-linked instruments (XAUUSD) and speculative junior-miner equities, but broader price impact will depend on follow-up assays and resource modelling.
