Jaguar Mining Inc. Reports First Quarter 2026 Operating Results
Jaguar Mining reported Q1 2026 operating results with consolidated gold production of about 9,630 ounces, driven by Pilar (8,776 oz) and the resumed Turmalina complex (854 oz, ~9% of total). Turmalina restarted March 9 after regulatory embargoes were lifted, and Pilar continued stable output while investing in ventilation and development. Cash on hand improved to $72.1M and the company benefited from favorable gold prices (average ~$4,876/oz). Management reiterated a bullish 2026 production outlook of 50,000–60,000 ounces, supported by ongoing development, drilling and tailings infrastructure work. The operational restart at Turmalina and upgraded infrastructure suggest potential upside to Jaguar’s production trajectory and could be positive for gold-mining equities and supportive for gold prices (XAUUSD) if realized.
