Irish CAB Seizes Third 500 BTC from Collins, Total Hits 1,500 BTC

On July 3, Irish authorities recovered another 500 BTC from Clifton Collins’ dormant wallets, bringing the 2026 total to 1,500 BTC valued at roughly $92 million. With Europol support, CAB accessed a third long-inaccessible wallet whose private keys had been printed on paper, following earlier seizures in March and May. On-chain data shows approximately 4,500 BTC still locked across nine remaining wallets, while the latest tranche was moved to Coinbase Prime at a Bitcoin price near $61,749.
